💫 What is Aerial Sling & Aerial Hammock Dance?
Aerial Sling (also called Aerial Loop) is hung by a swivel and Aerial Hammock is often hung at two points. They use a fabric apparatus suspended from the ceiling—essentially, a soft loop of fabric that supports your body as you explore spins, wraps, flips, and dance-like movement sequences. These two styles are closely related and often interchangeable depending on the choreography or technique focus.
Expect dynamic movement, fluid transitions, and moments of breathtaking stillness as you explore choreography both in the air and on the ground. It’s a workout, a creative outlet, and a confidence-booster all rolled into one!
🧘♀️ How is This Different from Aerial Yoga?
While Aerial Yoga focuses on stretching, decompression, and yoga postures supported by the fabric, which is only used as a tool to facilitate yoga practice. It is not generally considered an aerial art.
Aerial Dance emphasizes artistic expression, dynamic movement, and choreography. In Aerial Dance, you’ll learn how to move with the sling, creating beautiful sequences that combine grace, strength, and flow.
Think: more spinning, sequencing, climbing, and momentum-based skills—less stretching and restorative poses.

Each class is structured to help you build confidence, strength, and aerial vocabulary while having a blast! Here's how a typical session flows:
🌟 Warm-Up: Full-body warm-up on the ground and with the sling to awaken muscles and improve mobility.
🌀 Technique Focus: Learn and refine foundational movements like mounts, wraps, balances, and transitions.
💃 Choreography / Creative Flow: Apply what you’ve learned in a short sequence or movement flow—explore expression, timing, and musicality.
🧘 Cool Down: Gentle stretches on and off the sling to unwind and release.
🌈 Open-Level & Beginner Friendly!
No experience? No problem! Our classes are designed for all levels, with extra support for first-timers and new aerialists. Every move and sequence comes with progressions and regressions, so you can choose your own adventure—whether you're looking for a gentle introduction or a challenge.

🪢 What to Wear
Comfortable, close-fitting workout clothes (leggings and a fitted top with sleeves are ideal). Avoid zippers, jewellery, or anything that could snag the fabric.
